I’ve been in media for 25 years, and I’ll tell you this straight:

So before you walk into that ballroom, get this down:

1. Who are you? Name, title, business or organization.

2. What problem do you solve? Be clear. Not clever—clear.

3. What makes you different? This is where your confidence shows up.

4. What’s the next step? What do you want people to do after meeting you?

If you can say that in 60 seconds, you’re already ahead of most of the room.

The Empowering Women Media Lounge Presented by JazzCast Pros

And no—it’s not just a podcast booth. This is a live media training experience.

I’ll be inviting attendees to step in and:

• Practice their :60 pitch on camera

• Share their story

• Reflect on what they’re learning

• Build confidence speaking to media

As the founder of JazzCast Pros, my mission is to remove the barriers that keep people from being heard and to position entrepreneurs as experts in their field through the power of podcasting. And right now, we are the only media platform in Rochester dedicated to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
